There are 1-2 page journal reflections assigned for every reading assignment. Students are required to reflect upon the reading material. Each journal entry must include quotes from the reading that was assigned that week. Reflections should include a very brief description of the main thesis in readings but MOST of the journal entry should focus on drawing out certain themes that incited their emotions, insights, thoughts, and/or curiosities.
